Lifted from the National Post comments section:
"The Conservatives would have you believe they are the best party to manage our economy yet, under Mr. Harper they turned a surplus into a string of deficits, reduced government revenue so they had to cut services and increase the national debt to its highest level ever. What can you expect from a party lead by a BComm drop-out."
Now, Harper did get his masters in economics from the University of Alberta but before that he did not complete the BComm program he started at the University of Toronto. This theoretical ad took that fact out of context.
That is what the Conservatives do all the time in their attack ads.

John Stuart Mill and Adolph Hitler
A remarkably intelligent right-wing colleague in university once complained that universities were biased, in that most of the professors were left-of-centre. My response was that that was simply the reality when you move up in IQ points, the proportion of right-wingers thins out. We agreed to disagree.
... from the very quotable ...
"Although it is not true that all conservatives are stupid people, it is true that most stupid people are conservative."
―John Stuart Mill - English Philosopher
... to the unquotable ...
“What luck for rulers that men do not think.”
― Adolph Hitler - Nazi Dictator
... then naturally prove Godwin's Law by comparing the Harpercrite to Hitler...

Gomery Commission Harpercrite
"My fellow Canadians.
We have all just witnessed a sad spectacle, a Prime Minister so burdened with corruption in his own party that he is unable to do his job and lead the country, a party leader playing for time, begging for another chance.
This is not how a prime minister should act."

Hello Harpercrite Readers
This is a little blog to remind Canadian voters about the white horse the Reform/Alliance/Progressive Conservative party rode into Ottawa on, and the black horse the Conservative party is riding on now.
I heard Preston Manning speak at the University of Toronto around 1989. Manning created a strong, principled, redneck party of Western conservatives and libertarians. Stephen Harper would later harshly and publicly criticize Manning for excess spending for hiring a personal hairdresser and buying some new suits. Harper capitalized on this stab in the back to take over the party. Later, after vowing to never merge the Reform party with other conservative parties in Canada, Harper merged the Reform party with the other conservative parties in Canada.
These days Stephen Harper has his own personal hairdresser, who may also be his astrologist. He shrugs off billion-dollar mistakes in F-35 fighter jet estimates, and has no problem blowing $1 billion on a weekend's security for the G20 Conference while letting the NSA spy on visiting diplomats and making the largest mass arrests in Canadian history.
Meanwhile we read squishy news reports about how Harper the hockey fanatic flies to hockey games in the USA, and has his car flown to China, all on our dime. This week we find out CSIS has been spending millions spying on anti-oil-pipeline protestors.
That's why Deceivin' Stephen's earned his name, The Harpercrite.
